Patience ~ The Best is Yet to Come

PatienceHappy Tuesday!! I have two days left till ‘D’ day, but wondering if my baby will come sooner ~ hoping he will. I can’t wait to meet the little guy and the suspense is making me crazy. I have sorted and organized everything possible in my home. If he doesn’t come soon, I’m going to have to start working on someone else’s house to keep busy. Another thing that is keeping me up at night (as if pregnancy insomnia wasn’t enough) Sweets is being re-stationed this summer and we will be moving. We are not sure where yet and in true military fashion they don’t have to tell us until right before we move. I have to make a decision soon….I either create a plan for every possible move we could make or surrender to uncertainty. Against every bone in my being, I have to choose the later. God is growing my patience for sure and even though it is making me nuts ~ I’m loving it!!

  1. you might as well keep surrendering and realize that you have no control over most things in life . as a military wife, that’s a given when you sign on. i think your approach to trust God and wait for His leading is the best way to handle it. as for baby e., well january is not over yet!!! :O yeah yeah i know…..i am not funny, right?! enjoy your last moments with him inside — you don’t get those back.
